In 2009, Udon Entertainment and Deviant Art held a Darkstalkers Tribute contest, asking fans from around the world to submit art of their favorite Darkstalkers characters to the book. Not knowing anything about the cast of characters from the franchise, I spent a good amount of time learning about the series and this character in particular, Lord Raptor (Zable Zarock in Japan) stood out to me.
